Our June Highlights

With two heat waves during June our graphic gives a definite nod towards ongoing tropical conditions! Luckily our HQ is located within a converted chapel so the thickness of the outer walls does help to keep the building (and our team!) a little cooler. Here’s what we’ve been up to in June:

CHAS ELITE ACCREDITATION RENEWED: Standard CHAS registration achieved for the 14th year running to which we have been successful in adding both ADVANCED and ELITE Certifications.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN ENGINEERING DAY: FSS leads the way and bucks the trend by recruiting and promoting a higher than average percentage of women within our Engineering business. Our talented and dedicated ladies make up 35% of our work force.

SUPPORTING ARMED FORCES DAY: We’re proud of our long-standing commitment to the Armed Forces community, pledging, demonstrating, and advocating support for those transitioning into civilian life. Ex-military personnel have become a vital part of our Engineering Team, delivering expert services to clients nationwide. Jon Elwood, Ryan Prendergast, and Dave Thorpe bring an incredible work ethic and drive from their time and training in the military.

VOLUNTEERS WEEK: showcasing our dedication to volunteering and giving back with particular reference to our work @ BB.

WORK ANNIVERSARIES: Congratulations went to 2 members of our team – Kay Thomas, Sales Account Manager, for 4 years of service, and Saifad Arshad, Capital Projects Lead Design Engineer for 6 years.
