It’s just ‘another weekend’ for our Finance Director at Endure ’24

Endure ‘24 is a 24 hour race held annually in Bramham Park, West Yorkshire. The aim is for participants to do as many 5 mile laps as they can either individually, in pairs or in teams.

Katharine Barnett accompanied by partner in crime, Catharine Farley, took part again as a solo competitor and we were delighted to sponsor her as she continues to raise funds for Crohn’s & Colitis UK. This charity is close to many people’s hearts and definitely to Katharine’s who has friends and family who suffer the debilitating effects of this illness; it truly is them who really “Endure.”

Before the race Katharine set a target of completing 10-12 laps ie 50-60 miles and it is fantastic to see that she achieved her target. In between there was merriment and socialising (of course!), intermittent sleep in the Motorhome, Foxy and butterfly costumes and a whole lot more!

FSS sends congratulations to Katharine for attacking Endure ’24 in her own inimitable way completing 129,802 steps / 63.9 miles since Friday and hopes she has now had a well earned rest (although knowing Katharine that is highly unlikely!)
