Celebrating Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day is special to FSS as we show our support for those in the Armed Forces Community every day, but we especially have them in mind on Armed Forces Day.

• We are holders of the Silver Award Armed Forces Covenant.
• In over 24 years in business we have employed (and continue to employ) several veterans from the forces.
• One of our chosen charities is Hull for Heroes which does amazing work with veterans, helping them to transition smoothly to civilian life, offering housing, education, and job support to prevent homelessness and honour their service.
• Working with ex-armed forces personnel is a perfect match to the culture of FSS.

Why? Because they bring strong discipline, reliability, teamwork and leadership skills. They are trained to work under pressure, adapt to changing situations, follow procedures, and maintain high professional standards. Many also have valuable technical, logistical, and problem-solving experience that transfers well to civilian roles. Their commitment, work ethic, and ability to learn and use their training from the forces make them some of the best recruits to FSS where Quality is at the heart of everything we do.
