World Day for Safety and Health at Work

Everyday is a Safety & Health day at work for us at FSS. It’s not ever reserved to mention on a ‘World Day’ and under our ‘Quality in everything we do’ theme you are assured of our attention in the following operational areas:

• Extensive training for all employees working on and off client sites – renewed annually
• Provision of 5 point PPE for all personnel visiting sites – fully funded by FSS
• Provision of advice by our external 3rd party advisers Howarths – annual review of our H&S policy, statement and manual plus ongoing advice if there are any changes in law
• Accreditation with Alcumus SafeContractor, Achilles, CHAS, Constructionline and to client specific requirements – renewed annually
• Liaison between Engineering Manager and the engineering team – ensuring compliance and facilitating any changes or recommendations for change in working practices
