‘Keighley Made’ – a new in initiative promoting manufacturing in Keighley

Our Finance Director, Katharine Barnett, has for many years played an active role on the Employer’s Engineering Board at Keighley College and has now joined a new group called ‘Keighley Made’. Recently launched, this is a membership group of manufacturing businesses centred on a key manufacturing cluster of small and medium sized manufacturing firms in and around Keighley.

We are excited about how together we can promote and drive forward the talent and skills in our area. We are particularly keen on education/training bringing in young people to continue manufacturing in the area All of this fits perfectly with our passion for, and policy of, supporting our community, regeneration, engineering and educational advancement.

Who knew that Keighley is an incredible hub of engineering and manufacturing technology – even satellite parts!? Well, you do now!
