Exhibiting at the Critical Power and Decentralised Energy Exhibition
Fuel Storage Solutions is always looking for ways to demonstrate that we are the best in our field. Exhibitions are one way for us to get our message out there and tomorrow, (18 April 2018) we are continuing that quest by exhibiting at the 2018 Critical Power and Decentralised Energy exhibition (www.cpde.co.uk/).
This exhibition will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and our stand is located at B6. Please come and see us. You can test our expertise, see our innovations and get information on the many ways we can improve your fuel storage and fuel quality. By simply applying a few changes to your fuel management you could save money, improve the condition of your fuel (and therefore the quality of how your fuel functions) and have the comfort of knowing that you have met your legal obligations.
Awards – the Quest for Bling …
In addition to the exhibition, 18 April 2018 is another big day for Fuel Storage Solutions Limited as we have 2 nominations in the mix at the Power Industry Awards (so double the anxiety!!). Our quest for bling continues!!
After what will, no doubt, be an amazing day at the exhibition our intrepid colleagues, Vince McCarry and Emma Fleming, will be skipping off to the awards dinner to be wined, dined and (hopefully) bring back the bling!! Whatever happens, we are in contention and that is accolade enough.
The Power Industry Awards 2018 aim to recognise and reward the achievements of industry leaders and innovators in a variety of categories. Fuel Storage Solutions have entries in 2 categories, “Best Innovation or Technology of the Year” and “Women in Power”. To have our entries accepted we had to provide representations proving our achievements and the reasons behind our application.
Best Innovation or Technology of the Year
Once again our Geberit pipework system (patent pending) has been recognised as an innovation. With applications far beyond the fuel industry this has revolutionised steel bunded pipework and is in high demand
“FSS have a patent pending on the pipework. It has with applications in chemical process, shipbuilding, hostile environments and high risk liquids/gases. It is the only bunded, crimped solid fit pipe in the world, from a small company in West Yorkshire. “
Women in Power
We have nominated the co-owner of Fuel Storage Solutions, Katharine Barnett.
Katharine is our Finance Director but has taken on a much wider role to establish Fuel Storage Solutions as one of the leading providers of fuel management support in the UK.
“Fuel Storage Solutions has seen tremendous growth over the past twelve months. Katharine has spearheaded this growth ensuring financial stability. Using her skills as a business leader, entrepreneur and astute financial planner, FSS has increased its head count from fourteen employees 12 months ago to twenty two at the time of writing, and seen sales double over the same time frame bringing much needed employment for local people. Creating skilled jobs and providing significant financial resources to train new employees to a high standard.”
We shall keep you informed but everything is crossed for success.
