We are a small / medium sized company based in Bradford, but working nationally. We have been established for over 9 years and have a good and stable customer base.
The position will involve working on sites nationwide and staying away through the working week. Duties other than building works will be part of the job but training will be provided where needed. The Company operates a stakeholder pension scheme.
Role details:
- Undertaking groundworks and building works
- Working in teams to complete engineering projects
- Ensuring that projects are completed within agreed deadlines and cost limitations whilst meeting contractual requirements to commercial, technical and safety standards
- Support Pipework Engineer
- Complying with health and safety at all times
- Working to strict health and safety requirements
- Hand digging
Experience and qualifications required:
Essential Requirements
- CSCS
- Building experience
- Ticket to use excavators up to 10 tonnes
- Full driving licence
- Be capable of obtaining (or already have) MOD security clearance
- Strong work ethic and willing to learn from others
- The job involves mainly working away from home so applicant must be happy to do so
- Must be able to work to RA/MS
Beneficial
- Ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of civil works
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Pipework and/or fuel experience an advantage
